Cake:

1 c. water

½ c. oil

1 stick margarine

4 T. cocoa

Melt together in a small saucepan.

In a separate bowl combine:

2 c. sugar

2 c. flour

1 tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp. salt

2 beaten eggs

1 heaping tsp. baking soda

½ c. buttermilk

1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in a small bowl; pour the heated mixture over the second; stir well.  Pour batter into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan that has been greased and floured.  Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on 400 degrees.

Icing:

1 stick margarine

4 T. cocoa 

6 tsp. milk

1 box powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

½ c. chopped nuts (if you want nuts)

Make in a saucepan.  Pour icing on the cake while it is still warm.
